How We Choose Our Cultivars

Every December the family convenes to discuss what genetics we will grow the following season.  We are looking for consistent, dense flowers with high terpene content.  Innovative genetic combinations are a bonus.  Most important, we look at the track record of the seed companies.

Outstanding hemp flower has three criteria. Not one can be lacking. We need a gassy or funky nose, strong effects, and dense buds. Without all three it won’t make the cut. We look for new and unique genetics, but they must have proven results in all three areas.

Seed genetics have too often gone to market before they are ready. We look for consistent genetic sources that complete research before releasing a cultivar. While the newest and latest genetics are attractive, nothing beats the consistency and integrity of Oregon CBD Seeds and East Fork Cultivars.
